About KV KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NO1 SAMBALPUR, NEAR INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, BARAIPALI SAMBALPUR,ODISHA-768006

Kendriya Vidyalaya No1 , Sambalpur is one of the oldest KVs of our country and it is one of the first two KVs established in the state of Odisha in the year 1965. It is a pioneer institution run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body, under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. It has been functioning in its own building having a very big attractive campus, catering to the educational needs of the children of the transferable Central Govt. employees including defence personnel, State Govt. employees and the floating population.
The school is located in the western end of the town of Sambalpur, which is located on the Kolkata - Mumbai highway and is connected by railway line from Jharsuguda to Titlagarh and Bhubaneswar.
